Tactical K9 Operations School

 

Tactical K9 Tracking Operations founded by Mike Pennington, is a Division of Storm Dog K9 Training L.L.C.  The focus of this Division is to offer some of the most up to date Tactical K9 Training at an affordable cost for K9 Handler’s, Patrol Officers and Tactical Team Members. 

Our courses of instruction will teach you some of the most up to date K9 Training Methods and Tactics for use in both a Patrol and Tactical environment.  You will find that most of our Tactics can be put to direct use, your next day back to work, making your High Risk Deployments safer for all Officers involved. 

We believe PROGRESSIVE K9 Training Techniques have stalled for the last 15-20 years and that the approach of “This is how we have always done it” continues to teach out-dated TRAINING, TECHNIQUES and TACTICS.  In SWAT, we were always looking for a better way to do something to enhance the safety of all involved.  We feel it is just as important to respond in the same manner with K9 Training. 

I feel very strong in saying, “Police K9 Teams should be trained with Focus, Commitment and Tactics to meet the demands of the growing violence in our society, just as Tactical Team Members”.
